Beautiful tour between the two Walser villages of Warth and Schröcken. Two demanding sections!

This high-alpine yet leisurely tour takes you along a forest road up to the Batzenalpe and past the Alpine Museum "uf m Tannberg." Through the wildly romantic Auenfeld, the route leads to the Auenfeldalpe. The section over the Salober Saddle to Hochtannberg Pass is more challenging. The journey continues along a gravel path past Hotel Adler and Hotel Jägeralpe to the "Old Salt Road." A narrower gravel path then takes you on the final stretch to Warth. The return route follows the L200 main road via the Hochtannberg Pass back to Schröcken.
